Writer’s Guidelines
General Agreements & Policies
Submission of articles and confirmation of receipt of article is not a statement of acceptance that the article will appear in Aspire Magazine and/or its website. It is understood that in submitting an article for consideration that Aspire reserves the right to select its method of publishing whether in the digital magazine or its content rich website.
Upon acceptance of your article for usage you will be notified by email. At this time Aspire does not compensate for articles.
Keep in mind that the magazine’s lead-time is three months and Aspire is published bi-monthly (six times a year) and our issues close well in advance. Any submissions should not be so time-bound that they will appear dated. We assume no responsibility for unsolicited queries or manuscripts.
We do our best to respond to all submissions promptly, but due to volume and deadlines, it is not always possible to do so. Due to the volume of submissions received each month, we can not update you on the status of your article or its acceptance. Rest assured, if your article is selected, you will be notified. Though you may not hear right away your article may be perfect for a future issue and is on file.
Content/Tone/Style
Before submitting an article for consideration please visit Aspire’s website and become familiar with Aspire’s style, tone and audience. Aspire is inspirational, personal, life enhancing—all rolled into an approachable, simple, clear package that is relatable to women of all ages, and at all stages on their life’s journey.
The voice of Aspire will be light, uplifting, and inspiring; comforting, a trusted friend to turn to and lean on. Powerful stories, experiences and joys found in other’s personal journeys. The sharing of these struggles, hard-ships, healing, insight, growth, personal power and accomplishment form a bond within the Aspire community and provide encouragement and inspiration to other readers to consider new possibilities.
Publication
It is understood that all submissions will be considered for one or both of our publishing platforms an may appear in Aspire’s digital magazine and/or its content rich website. All accepted articles are subject to editing. If an article submitted to Aspire has appeared in any other publication in the past year please note that in your submission.
Editing
Aspire reserves the right to edit all reader contributions for clarity or length. Changes (sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, grammar, syntax, lengths) will be made at the discretion of the editorial staff. Article may be edited as necessary to comply with our editorial standards. All headlines, subheads, table of contents copy, captions and other miscellaneous related editorial copy may be written and edited with our editorial standards.
Length
Articles
The total length of articles submitted for consideration should be 800 to 1,000 words including sidebars. Those articles not chosen for a particular issue of Aspire may be kept on file for future consideration or placed on our content-rich website. If the article submitted has appeared in another publication please note publication name and date published. See detailed submission guidelines below.
Book Excerpts
Aspire does accept book excerpts for consideration that are relevant to our editorial and our readers. Excerpts are generally 800-1100 words. See detailed submission guidelines below.

Life Purpose.
Discover the passion that fuels you and create the life of your dreams. Featuring tips, tools and inspiration to assist you in uncovering your unique purpose and passion to enable you to bring your gifts to the world.
Body. Soul.
Nurture all aspects of your emotional, physical and spiritual self. Articles, features and interviews delving into relationships that feed the soul, tips on self-care through exercise, meditation and healthy eating and more to encourage you to honor all aspects of yourself.
Family.Life.
Family is the center of a woman’s life. However you define family, it defines you. Here we’ll share the wisdom and humor on personal relationships, parenting and children, and balancing your home/family life.
Business. Balance.
Every woman is a business woman. Whether running a household of four or a Fortune 500 company, you make things happen… and it’s all about balance. Featuring articles, columns and profiles dedicated to helping women balance their work/home life – as entrepreneurs, executives or stay at home moms.
Aspired Living. Do you strive to live a spiritual and socially conscious life? This section features articles, personal essays and more on reconnecting and living a more joy-filled life.
Submission Guidelines:
For Digital Magazine consideration
Please note – we’d like ONE email per article submission. Attach all the following documents and files in one email in order to ease the work flow for our editorial department. All article submissions and book excerpts must be submitted as MS WORD (.doc) files and include the following:
- At top right corner of the first page please include: Your name and email address along with the number of words in the article (not including bio)
- Up to a 50 word biography should immediately follow the end of the article/submission.
Be sure to include your web link.
- Headshot: High-Resolution JPEG no larger than 200 x 150 px. (For use on website if so selected) Please name your Jpg file with your name EX: Mary_Smith.jpg. Note: (We generally do not include your headshot in our digital magazine.)
All article submissions are to be sent to Editor@AspireMag.net. You will receive an e-mail notification of receipt within 3 days. Notification of receipt does not indicate acceptance of your article only receipt of your files.

Spiritual Parenting
Spiritual or conscious parenting is not limited to any one religious teaching. No matter what your family’s ‘religion’, raising a spiritually connected child is one of the best gifts you can provide your child. Navigating Life’s Transitions
