Living the Big Stuff: The Power of Sisterhood

It’s taken a long time and it can be a journey for many of us to find those special women in our lives we can trust,
but when we do, they are the gems we surely can’t live without. I know that I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without my girlfriends, and I wouldn’t see life as such a treasure without the women in my life who have been like angels who have shown me so much love and cared for me like a sister. I’ve always told my daughters that men may come and go in their lives, but your girlfriends will remain with you in crises until you can stand on your own to rebuild your life, and this happens many times.

That’s where we are now and we have the opportunity to be in community and share the power of the feminine circle; wise women have always sat together in community to support each other in council of large life matters that affect their families and tribe. Women, today, who sit in circle, grow richer in the journey of self-discovery, and it is proven scientifically that our cortisol (the stress hormone) levels are lower when we feel supported in community.

In mid-life, especially, we are in a time of change, transition and reinvention.  By coming together in a sacred space, we can rediscover ourselves by co-creating a well-lit path that leads us into our next level of greatness to fulfill another purpose-driven life. I believe as evidenced in my own life, that we are like cats: we have many lives to live in this one precious life.  Sometimes, these changes are most untidy, and it’s far easier to receive the gift of change with support and encouragement. Our world needs us to find each other and as we grow richer in wisdom, we band together in a circle that can’t be broken. Together, we can remember why we came to this earth. Together, we can claim our joy in this new adventure of life unfolding. Together, we can come to understand and express the deepest love affair that we have – the one we experience with life and the most profound relationship we have within. In sisterhood, we can hold space in love and support as we heal and embrace the unknown with courage and with heart calling on grace. We can do this in celebration and dance as if we are maidens making our way around a maypole!

You can tiptoe around in the dark grappling for something to hold onto and ground you in this time of change, or you can sit comfortably in a virtual circle, wrapped in a blanket. As I step into this phase of life where there is so much more, I invite to join me, and hundreds of like-minded women for The Don’t Sweat the Change Sisterhood.

As a member of this sacred virtual community for midlife women we’ll meet once a month via phone and come together to explore, learn and support each other as we navigate this new chapter of our lives.

I’ll be right there on the journey with you… opening my heart and soul to you as I share what I’m learning, the growth edges I’m surfing in my mind, body and spirit awareness, and lovingly support you in doing the same.

Together we will traverse empowering new topics and delve deeper into answering some of midlife’s big questions:

Where is your passion?

What really lights your fire now?

How do I define myself with an empty nest and how do I fill the emptiness renewed with a new purpose?

What’s happening to my body?

How can we go through our body changes gracefully and with optimal health?

How can I tap into my divine feminine sexual essence?

How can I have romance and sovereignty all at once?

How can I rediscover love with my husband or my partner?

How can I really learn not to sweat the small stuff so I can live the big stuff?

Thank you for considering joining the Don’t Sweat the Change Sisterhood where we will explore and journey this path of life, love and letting go—together.

Grab your cup of tea, put on your slippers, and get cozy as we share the power of women, circle and sisterhood on the path to awareness and joy in one spiritual hour a month.

Treasure the gifts of life and love, Kris
