The New Year provides a time of reflection and connection as we take the time to look back over the old year and celebrate and give gratitude for the abundance in our lives. It is the perfect opportunity to review our connection on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels and move into the New Year.
Have you ever had a feeling about someone that you couldn’t explain, but the feeling was so strong that it affected how you felt about that person? When at a loss to explain how we feel, we might describe this person as dark and foreboding or the opposite, such as having a sunny disposition or being a ray of sunshine in our lives. For thousands of years, artists in ancient Egypt and later in Rome and other parts of Europe attempted to paint the energy they felt around a person, such as a halo around an enlightened being and dark shadow around someone who is consumed with sadness and guilt. What these artists depict and others describe, is what I have seen around people my entire life.
With the grand culmination of the last Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part Two, hitting the silver screen, we have reached the end of a journey in both the books and movies covering this wonderful series. One of the most common complaints I hear from people is that they have tried to use the laws of manifestation many times and still are no better off than when they started. They’ve tried to manifest everything from parking spaces, loving relationships, to checks in the mail and it just isn’t working. I understand their frustration as over the years I’ve watched with interest as information has been shared in regards to attracting energy into one’s life, often with a few important pieces of the puzzle missing.

It is your time to awaken into this age of love and manifestation in which we live.
In these challenging economic times, we’re exploring stay-cations and focusing on our home as a retreat from the distractions and turmoil of the outside world. Now more than ever, our home is required to provide a feeling of serenity and comfort.
The focus on interior design to bring harmony between people and their homes has always been valued throughout history. One of the most respected traditions is feng shui. In feng shui, one of the most important cures (a correction to adjust the energy in a space) is to restore order by the removal of clutter and negative energy from the home. This allows positive energy (chi) to circulate fully throughout the room. By removing overwhelming stimuli (clutter) a more peaceful environment is created. Intuitively, many of us perform this in a ritual of fall cleaning, but what if that’s only getting half the job done? Is it possible that we can also remove the negative energy in our home?
