The winter months are a mystical time for self-care, reflection and planting seeds. Some things you can do to invest in yourself are to let go, hibernate, reflect, review and begin again with new intentions. In the Fall, you started the process of letting go…cutting away what was no longer serving your highest truth or vision. The season is now dark and deep. Now you can hibernate.

Seek silence and stillness as you go within to hear yourself. You will find a voice of Light. Let that voice reveal herself to you. Reflect with her and reflect upon your year. She will show you how your journey has transformed. How you have expanded and grown through the past cycle. You may also see how old patterns were repeated and how you have gained the wisdom to release them. This is all part of the journey.

Feel your entire range of emotions. Feelings of anger, sadness, rage, resentment, bitterness, helplessness and even powerlessness may emerge. Hold those feelings with tenderness. You have come far. There was more to let go of then you realized. You are still releasing. Honor the courage it took to let go and to release the old. Grieve if grief comes to you. Celebrate if joy comes to you. Be with yourself exactly where you are. As you reflect you will gain clarity. You will know as the feelings begin shifting. A vision will come. An intuitive sense of what is calling to be birthed through you for this next season. You will know.

Here are 15 tips to navigate your personal transformation

1. Connect with nature and the peace and wisdom of plants, trees, flowers and the night sky.

2. Bathe in the sunlight for 10 to 15 minutes. Visualize the sun’s light filling the cells of your body.

3. Nurture yourself every day. Chant. Practice yoga or pilates. Prepare healthy meals for yourself, receive spa treatments and massages. Play. Explore homeopathy, essential oils and flower essences to nourish deep inner healing.

4. Arrange spaces in inspiring and uplifting ways. Let your home become your sanctuary and temple. Declutter and clear up energy in your environment.

5. Dance, play, be free! Allow your creativity to flow freely.

6. Let your imagination lead. Imagine your life in five years. Visualize all your dreams coming true. Let your mind wander and daydream and connect with your deepest passions, dreams and desires.

7. Practice creativity including drawing, painting, music, dancing, singing as well as yoga, tai chi and other forms of movement that align mind, body and spirit.

8. Make a gratitude list. Express appreciation for everything in your life, including any challenges that tested you and helped you become stronger.

9. Give, give, give. Generously give to those in need keeps you aligned with your heart.

10. Each time you feel anxiety or stress, align your feelings with abundance flow and ease. This allows you to stay entered, aware and grounded.

11. Eat clean and healthy. Welcome high-vibrational foods, plant-based diets, and dark, leafy vegetables into your cooking.

12. Pay attention to your intuition, the guidance of your soul and messages you receive within each moment. Messages will arrive in dreams and meditation. Journal to reflect, receive and become more intimate with the voice of your intuition.

13. Step out of your comfort zone and be open to emotional triggers. People and situations will show up to trigger patterns and limitations you are holding.

14. Love and forgive yourself and others for past mistakes and failures. We learn from everything and become wiser.

15. Accept and embrace that you are a powerful woman shining your light to the world, singing your soul song and inspiring the path of grace and beauty.
